In the Frame: Exploring the DIA
In the Frame: Exploring the DIA is produced in cooperation with
the Detroit Institute of
Arts and is a weekly 30-minute program that strives to make the DIA
accessible and rewarding to all Detroit Public Television viewers. The
program, hosted by DIA Director Graham Beal, and taped on location at
the museum, covers one area of interest in each program. Beal leads you
through the world of the museum in a relaxed and easy-to-understand approach,
making the art, the exhibits, and the artists come alive. Airs Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. ET, and any
time for one week after broadcast to Comcast Digital customers with ON
DEMAND. Production funding is provided by grants from Masco Corporation
Foundation and The Whitney Fund through The Community Foundation for Southeastern
Michigan. |
